Spain's oldest golf course has existed for over 125 years, since 1891, when it was founded as the Las Palmas Golf Club, it was later renamed Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas. Also referred to in the population as Bandama Golf Course. The challenging 18-hole golf course is on the edge of an extinct crater, the Caldera de Bandama, and impresses with breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea. A golf vacation on Gran Canaria is particularly attractive because you can play golf all year round. The average temperature is over 20 degrees from January to December. It is not necessarily the large number of golf hotels, but there are plenty of different accommodations, fine hotels, small hotels and nice pensions, why golfing in Las Palmas so popular.
